Bugs:
1) 20 seconds after pressing yes to install to import plugin, it gets stuck (view pic below).

2) It doesn't add a tab to the navigation manger and it shows that the tab is disabled, even though the plugin isn't.

3) I can no longer add any more tabs manually from the navigation manger, as I get this error:

It was caused by this plugin because I went back to a backup right before adding this plugin, and navigation manger worked fine.

4) The plugin doesn't appear on the righthand side of the admin CP (like other DB TECH products).

5) If I manually type in the URL, I get a empty vbulltin message (mysite/vbshop.php)

So I'm assuming it's because I have vbulletin 4.2.2 patch level 1, or another plugin I've installed messes it up.

Note:
I've tried versions 3.1.1 and 3.1.1 pl1. One of the times, the last bug (5) said I don't have sufficient permission instead of just giving a blanc message (I'm an admin).
I checked:
Admin CP -> Usergroups -> Usergroup Manger -> Administrators (go)
No DB TECH Shop settings appear, so I cant change usergroup permissions (within DB Shop general settings, there isn't any option to change usergroup permission). So I'm assuming the installation was corrupted, as it can't install correctly on my version. Hence, part of the installation is missing.

It's definitely caused by the plugin.
No, it isn't. As per that documentation, it's a server issue. The issue is a result of the MySQL server not being configured correctly to handle your forum with all your installed plugins.

What about all the other bug problems?
They will not be addressed until your server configuration has been corrected to allow for a proper installation, as it's highly likely the issues will correct themselves at that point :)

I'm going to try on other PHP configs now.
This is related to MySQL, not PHP, though if you upgrade to vB 4.2.3 Beta 1 I recommend moving to PHP 5.5.

Seems you're right.
I asked a friend to install it (he has vbulletin 4.2.2 on a different hosting site) and it worked fine for him.

I'll upgrade to 4.2.3 beta 1 and move to PHP 5.5 and tell you if it works or not :)

As I said in my previous post, updating PHP will not fix it. However, PHP 5.5 has multiple speed improvements over 5.2, which is End Of Life.

You will need to configure your MySQL settings as per the documentation page in order to fix the MySQL error.

Thanks.
I got my host to fix the SQL issue.
