dbtech/status/includes/class_install.php appears to be missing!

While installing user status & moods 1.3.6
I have downloaded and uploaded all files 4 times but error still occurs

Code:

dbtech/status/includes/class_install.php

appears to be missing!

From reading the dbtech forum it appears to be a know issue in vB 3xx series and it appears the same for vB 4xx

or Maybe it is something I did

This returns a 404 error, which would be the source of your problem

I've double-checked the zip file and the file in question is indeed present.

Did you accidentally upload the actual "upload" folder instead of the contents of the "upload" folder?

Open your FTP program, navigate to /public_html (or /www) - the same folder where forum.php resides.

Open the "upload" folder in the downloaded .zip file.

Ctrl+A to select all files -> drag it onto your FTP program

That will correctly allow you to install it

Had the same issue installing today, found out it was a permissions issue. Needed to set the permissions on the folder to 0745 (linux) in order for it to show up. Although I was getting an access denied error, I just needed to make sure the "X" (execute) permissions were applied to the folder and files within (recursive). The folder in questions was the folder inside the dbtech folder, mine was activity considering that was what I was installing. Just a heads up.
