It just seems they are trying to push the activity stream like its some big thing..But when you are use to using the Live Wall by DB Tech ..its not..The Live Wall is Much better.
They must have alot newbie coders onboard..Only thing I can think of..
That could very well be the problem..
The annoying thing is,that feature will now become standard stock..Very unfair..
yes it will and yes it is unfair..and you did notice they have it set by default for it to be the landing page that everyone comes to like they really have discovered something..
I kind of disabled it, i turned off all update functions set the preview to 1 and the days to keep info at 1 then disabled the button so unless you know that you are to go to activity.php non of my members will see this amazingly poor feature!
but if you click what's new you now get live feedwhich as always works great!

I'm really new to this running a site thing, do you know if we can just delete the activity.php from the server? i ask cause i'm thinking it is still causing queries even though it will never be used.....
Maybe grounds for copyright here..Who knows!!
