Well it's a shame you left the vB community but I know you thought long and hard on it though.

Wasn't an easy decision, but this was the best thing I could do for my community.
My members are more active than before. Everyone is loving the change.

I'll still be active around these parts and the vB community.

Generally speaking, most forum users do not know the difference between Xenforo and Vbulletin or any other forums software for that matter. It sounds as though you are implying that your users are more active simply because your site runs Xenforo now.

I am not bringing this up to start a verbal battle on which forum is better or question your motives by any means, I am simply intrigued because it has been my experience that a big change tends to turn off most members and activity drops.

Was your site experiencing functionality problems with VB that your users disliked and is now better with XF?

Hi there, my vBulletin install did not have any issues.
We did change the design, which people love more than before. We use to have a medieval green/orange/black theme before.

So far I haven't heard about any complaints about users missing any features from vBulletin, because most of the core features are now there.
