You can never fail when the conversation is about food! >:3

The topic is simple. Tell us what you're having for dinner tonight. If it's especially delicious, you should tell us how to make it. I like trying new things.

Tonight in the Dianahouse is...uh... "fend for yourself" night. I've cooked fancy meals all week long and now I'm tired. The men are going to have to grill up some burgers and toss some fries in the oven. Previously this week I've made Tacos, Fajitas, Gyros, Stir Fry and Meatloaf! oooh aaaah!

My wife and I went to what's called the Strawberry Festival here in Valrico, FL. So I first split a bag of boiled peanuts. Then had a very messy steak hoagie; had to eat it with a fork. Finally, I ate a really good Greek Gyro.

Left over pizza from yesterday, tasted better than it did yesterday, but still tasted... meh.

We're off to our favourite restaurant - The Ubiquitous Chip - if you're ever in Scotland I thoroughly recommend you have a meal there :)

I'll probably have Vegetarian Haggis as a starter and Fillet Steak au Poivre as my main meal

Diana, i've never seen fries tossed in the oven before, you'll have to show me how that works ;). as for me i've gotten stuck into a nice big fat dominoes pizza MMMmmmmMMM. and now i'm £9.99 worse off, but it was oh so good!

Wow...both sound wonderful. I was stuck with barbecued chicken breast, baked beans, and green beans and corn. Southeast, USA! I'm the gal with the funny accent. *grins*

haha a simple enough topic to start out posting about as i browse around the site and see what it all has to offer.

But tonight was Steak and Spaghetti for me. I know this hasn't been posted in, in 2 weeks, but my stomach's full so I felt like sharing that all with you. Also, garlic bread for the Sauce. ;)

TONIGHT: Stir Fry with Scallops, Broccoli, Baby Corn, Water Chestnuts and Bamboo shoots. With a side of potstickers!

And no, it's not take out or frozen foods. That's not how we play in my kitchen! >: D

i actually did some of my own home cooking, i made what is called a "Waffle Tower" which you'll see why in the screeny below of what it turned out like. basically the waffle layers are made of vanilla pod, egg white, flour, sugar and butter and a little unwhipped cream, the fruit was all placed in a bowl and a tablespoon of sugar was added to it along with 2 tables spoons of limoncello and a freshly squeesed orange. the layers were built up of waffle whipped cream fruit whipped cream waffle. it looks good and tasted even better.
