Bug XCache Authentication Failed when importing vbseo likes

This is not a bug, this means that the authentication information was given in the wrong format.

As we do not use authentication, I don't know whether the XCache functions expect it in raw or MD5 format. If you provided it in MD5 format, try raw, and vice versa.

You should not feel bad about leaving authentication off, as it is entirely useless unless the conditions mentioned in my previous post are true.

hrm, my password data is md5. It seems like it's not accounting for this while other dbtech modifications are. Leaving authentication off causes the xcache cp to be wide open if the URL is known.

Other modifications don't try to flush cache when new entries are inserted.

You can resolve this by using a .htaccess file to either limit access to only your IP, or use this functionality: Password Protecting Your Pages with htaccess
