Bug Install not working

I already posted this one, but now can't find the thread. Here goes again.


I have a customer who has a VPS at godaddy. On the same VPS, they have 2 vbulletin installations for different urls. They want a post thanks solution, so I installed your LITE product so they can use and decide if they want to purchase.

EXCEPT

On both accounts, the installation runs fine, the files are uploaded, the correct folder is chmod'd. If I go into VB OPTIONS, I see the options for the plugin. What I am NOT seeing is the DBTECH menu on the left side, with the button options. This means i cant go in and set the options for the buttons so people can see them.

I've installed this before on my own forum, and its working fine there. But, on both of these other installations, the dbtech menu isnt showing. The correct files are in the cpnav folder, but nothing on the screen.

Any ideas?

Yup, that was the solution. I did read the doc and didnt see it in there. Did I just miss it?? And I do work for these people, so I didnt have or need the superadmin flag. So I added it, did what I needed, and then removed it again.

The reason why it's needed is that your user didn't have "Can Administer Thanks" via the Administrator Permissions menu - almost all our mods have this per-admin flag configurable
