Permission question
I want to use this mod for different purpose.
I want to give the owner of the thread the ability to assign a moderator for his thread.
I think the option to tag a user can accomplish that, but I want the owner be the only one with permission to tag, is this possible?

No, that is not possible. There's no per-thread permissions, unfortunately
