We are trying out the lite version of vBAA and have noticed that many of our users are not displaying on the Leaderboards or Rankings. We have tried to repair the cache, reset the points to zero and recalculate the points. No matter what we do, we cannot get these missing users to show up. We have also set all usergroups to be able to View Activity in the Permissions.

Please advise.

Run admincp/vbactivity.php?do=finalise&version=2000 - that should insert the missing records :)

Ran the admincp/vbactivity.php?do=finalise&version=2000 which said it was finalizing installation. It completed without error but the leaderboard/rankings are still not showing all the missing users.

Some additional information: It seems that the vBActivity leaderboard/rankings are only showing 380 out of our over 900 users.

Recalculated the points. Still missing the users from the Ranking and Leaderboards. I have gone into several of the profiles of users that are missing and the Activity tab shows their points are correct, they are just not showing up in the leaderboards or ranking.

Then unless their usergroups are flagged as excluded, or their individual users are, there's nothing more I can do :(

Ah nvm, exclusions is a Pro-only feature, my bad.

Do these users gain points? You can check that on their profile in the vBActivity tab.

Are there any common denominators between those users?

For instance, all in one specific usergroup not shared by existing users?

there does not seem to be any correlation, they are all over the map. I will try to take another look and see if there is anything in common.

So it does seem that there are a few possible correlations:

1. Nobody from above a certain userrank is showing, but i doubt this is the culprit as one of the ranks is missing some members.
2. Nobody from activity levels 10-21 are showing. Once again, not sure if this is the culprit as I see a level 29 is missing as well but one 29 shows.

I tried looking at the user IDs as well to see if it wasnt catching users after a certain number, but they are all over the place as well.

Basically, I do not see any clear cut smoking gun.

Hmm, this is indeed quite a mystery...

Could you please PM me with FTP information as well as an AdminCP account for your forum? If so, I'll look into it and hopefully the code will reveal to me its secrets :)

Thanks, I'll check it out over the weekend - Fridays are notoriously stressful here :(

The feature is actually working as it was designed - you have a bunch of custom usergroups that have "Is Not Banned Group" set to "no" :)

vBAA considers all usergroups with that set to "No" as banned groups that should be excluded. Because it has to pre-calculate excluded users before it knows all the users' usergroups (i.e. 3 groups with No + 1 group with Yes = Yes), it can unfortunately not be made to work with vBulletin's permission inheritance system.

Would it be possible for you to edit your custom groups and change that flag to Yes for all groups that are not actually banned?

Changed all the applicable groups to set to Yes. It seems to have done the trick! Thank you for all your hard work and you have gotten a loyal DBT customer!
