Hi Fillip H.
Thank you for the reply. I uploaded the file "forum" and all its content to the root folder on my server.
these are the instructions :
1. Upload all files from the "forum" folder to your forums directory.
I must be missing something here, is there another folder in which i should have installed it in?
Im new so i need more details on how things work and are set up in vb, so i appreciate your patience.
thank you Mark

You want to upload the files "FROM" the forum folder into your forum root folder. So basically the contents of the "forum" folder need to be uploaded, not the folder "forum" itself.

Read that a couple times, all of those from, folder and forums almost confuses me too. ;)

Ok i think i got it lol, so i just need to delete the folder called forum and keep all the file folders in side there in the root dir. " Its so simple a cave man can do it".... I wish i was a cave man!

Thank you again for your help :D
Mark

PS if i get this working right i will be purchasing the pro-version.

Trekkan is correct.
The folder will als be renamed "upload" in the next version to avoid confusion.
