Bug Shout Sound stuck in interval

I'm using Firefox and it's the same issue.

Turn off the "Shout Sound" feature to stop the automatic pop every 60 seconds

You can leave the other two sound options enabled, but that specific feature is the cause of this pop. It's unfortunately required for the modification to work correctly.

Will this be fixed?

Unfortunately it cannot be fixed. The shoutbox forcibly refreshes itself every 60 seconds if no new shouts have been posted, and that's what triggers the shout sound as it's indistinguishable from a normal shout being detected.

I'll close this ticket as Won't Fix. Sorry
