I am trying to uninstall DragonByte Tech: vBShout (Pro) version 3.0.0. I was an early tester of this and didn't download it directly from the site. I am trying to upgrade to a later version of vBShout Lite now, and I was able to uninstall the old Lite version successfully. However, I can't uninstall the Pro version from my Admin CP. Whenever I try, I get the message:

Fatal error: Call to a member function fetch_table_info() on a non-object in *sitename*/dbtech/vbshout_pro/install/uninstall.php on line 12

In addition, whenever I try to change a user's usergroup now, I get a database error with the following text, though this clearly is the most relevant:

MySQL Error : Unknown column 'dbtech_vbshout_banned' in 'field list'

If ya'll could help, this would be much appreciated.

The Pro should have been uninstalled first :p
Did the upgrade path from v3 not work properly then?

I didn't install the Pro version first, I didn't know I had to. Is there any way to repair this, or do I have to just reset vBulletin?

This was your test board, wasn't it? If so, it'd be easier to just reset vBulletin.

Newer versions of vBShout merge (and subsequently remove) Pro so that one only needs to install 1 product.
It produces a seamless upgrade path from v3/v4 Pro onto v5.2 Pro or Lite as required.
