Hello,

So I am currently playing with the LITE version of your reviews script to see if it can fit the needs of my website and my community and if so possibly a PRO version is in my future.

I have two things I need to find out.

The first thing is if I am able to add normal BBcode to my posts. It seems the WYSIWYG editor is missing a major component from the normal VB editor and that would be the video addon ability. Or just using the video bbcode in general. In the reviews I am adding I would also be adding youtube clips within the BODY of the review itself. Things that I don't want to have in the "gallery" slide show. Is it possible to add the ability for this mod to support this?

The second thing has to do with the Primary Image. I use custom images for my reviews. Things I don't want to show in the "gallery" slider because they look completely out of place in there. I would like to isolate the Primary image away from the gallery slider. Can this be achieved?

Thank you for your time,
Adam

I see the video button just fine in the editor for the "Review Text". Could you show me a screenshot of what page you're viewing?

Edit out the bit of the dbtech_review_view_review template wrapped in
Code:
<vb:if condition="$more_images">

</vb:if>

That is the editor I am seeing. I checked the settings and I don't see an option for a different post editor.

Also, doing that edit killed the gallery entirely. I would just like the primary image NOT to show up in the gallery but still use the gallery for other images.

You will see by visiting the link in my following post that the gallery still shows the "primary image".

Linking images within the actual page also seems to be broken. When you click on the Photo button in the editor it brings up a page that shows the current uploaded images but the IMG code is broken. Much like the VIDEO code is broken I assume.

There's no way to separate the primary image from the gallery at this time, sorry :(

Ok I can handle just hiding the gallery and not really displaying it, but what about the bbcodes seemingly not working? The IMG code and the VIDEO code are not working. Infact it appears the WYSIWYG editor seems to be different than the one included with Vbulletin.

But right now I am unable to add either a Youtube video or an IMG inside the body of the review.

I can see that it's currently not intended for [VIDEO] code to be parsed into its component player. However,

I'm sorry. I put in just the plain IMG code without using the button and it still does not display the image. All it shows is a TEXT link to the image file. Not the actual image.

Hmmm, seems deleting and recreating the bbcode worked. Not sure why. The code worked fine in the forums part of the website but not in the reviews area until I deleted it and recreated it.

So, with that out of the way. Thanks for the replies by the way Its been really helpful as I learn the system with the LITE version.

Is there a template code (a VB:raw code) or way to move individual custom fields to different parts of the review template? I know you can do that with VBulletin core in the profile templates and move the custom fields around but can it be done in the same way with the reviews? I think this is the last thing I need to figure out if its possible. :)

Unfortunately not, our system isn't setup with the same kind of "field ID" system that vBulletin uses to store its custom data.

If you re-post that as a Feature Request we can look into making it possible in future versions :)
