Hey all,

We're releasing vBMail v2.0.0 Beta 1 to both Pro customers and Lite users in order to add significant new functionality pertaining to subscriptions; the modification will, going forward, keep a detailed log of all subscription/unsubscription events, making distinctions between whether it was an administrator that added them, what email they clicked Unsubscribe on, etc. There is now also a browsable log in the AdminCP, where you can review all log events at your leisure.
We will expand upon this functionality in the future, by allowing you to see who unsubscribed from what email, directly from the front-end. We'll also be adding a post-unsubscribe "feedback" feature, where users can choose to leave feedback regarding why they unsubscribed.

Secondly, we've added a new (optional) confirmation feature, intended to comply with bulk mail laws in certain countries like Germany. Enabling this feature will send a confirmation email whenever the user clicks Subscribe or are set to be default subscribed, asking them if they wish to receive these emails. If the user takes no action, they will not receive any further emails. This feature is available to Pro customers only.

Lastly, a new Maintenance action has been added, allowing admins to choose any number of usergroups to be unsubscribed from any number of mailing lists at once.

If you like the product you can show your support by nominating it for mod of the month here: vBMail v2 (vB4) - vBulletin.org Forum or here: vBMail v1 (vB3) - vBulletin.org Forum, and also please rate it to help cancel out the users who 1 star our mods.
