Hey all,
After a successful Beta period we're proud to present vBForms v1.1.0 Gold, available immediately to both Pro customers and Lite users!
This version introduces one major feature: Priorities. You may have seen them in action in our support ticket system here on DBTech, but if not then here's the run-down: It allows your Form Managers to set per-Category how long a form should remain open before it's due to be closed.
For instance, if you use vBForms as a support ticket system, you can create Low / Medium / High priorities that will determine how severe the reported bug is. Alternatively, if you use vBForms for classifieds, you can use it to mark how long a sales entry should stay valid.
In the Pro version, once a form approaches its expected closure date, it will send an additional alert similar to the form creation alert, reminding the manager that the form's status should be set to closed soon.
For the future, we plan to evolve this feature by making the alerts much more dynamic. The details haven't been finalised yet, but the general idea is to be able to set multiple alerts as the form gets closer to its marked close time.
We welcome your feature suggestions, as always
If you like the product, you can show your support by nominating it for mod of the month here, [DBTech] DragonByte vBForms v1 (vB4) - vBulletin.org Forum , and also please rate it to help cancel out the users who 1 star our mods.
