Hey all,

We're releasing vBDownloads v2.3.2 in order to add new features as well as make changes to existing features based on customer feedback.

Firstly, we received feedback regarding the way thumbnails were displayed; they were being served as PHP files loading images, meaning browsers couldn't cache them. Not only that, but additional server resources were being taken up while serving the images, rather than just loading a flat file. We listened, and have changed the modification to write thumbnails to disk instead.

We were also told of a flaw in the way the thumbnail and screenshot features worked; an image could not serve as both screenshot and thumbnail at the same time. We're pleased to announce that we have amended this.

A desire was expressed to only include actual files in the "Files" counter (as opposed to including the thumbnail and screenshots). This has now been changed, and only actual downloadable files will be counted.

Lastly, the "Latest Download" displays have been updated to separate new downloads from updated downloads, providing a much more accurate representation of what downloads are actually new.
