Due to vB 4.1.4 editor runnig from javascript you have to do a custom bbcode for this now.
Download this image,(save it as hide.jpg) and insert it in your, images/buttons folder via ftp.
Acp/Custom BB Codes/Add New BB code:
Title: Hide
BB Code Tag Name: Hide
Replacement:
Example: [*HIDE*][*/HIDE*] Without the *
Description: Leave blank, vBulletin handles this
Use {option}: No
Button Image:
Remove Tag If Empty: Yes
Disable BB Code Within This BB Code: No
Disable Smilies Within This BB Code: No
Disable Word Wrapping Within This BB Code: No
Disable Automatic Link Parsing Within This BB Code: No
This makes it alot easier than template edits
