Question % sign in the URL

Someone on my forum posted a thread with a % in the title. It produced an error and changed the title to write out "per cent" as a work around.

Is there anyway to fix this?

Set your "Filter Non-Latin Characters" to either Replace or Remove non-latin characters, then flush your cache
