After installing this mod I ran into trouble on my board. With no plugins installed accept this one, when attempting to use the "Reply to Thread" in any of the forums, the board freezes into a searching mode. If I then select the Refresh on the Browser it will complete as it should. We tried going through the settings making changes with no luck. The database runs on msqli.

We tried this on both lite & pro versions.

Also something to think about. I use word press as a front page only. But my forum link begins withe the word forums. Example forums.sitename.com. I was told this most likely the problem and has to be fixed in code. It is seeing the "forums" name at the beginning of the boards address and it is confusing the mod.

Btw, the board has some installed plugins now. But this seo plugin was installed when there were no plugins installed.

Do you mean the Pro version of DBSEO? I am not seeing your account as licensed for the Pro version of that mod.

Look I had someone help me that helps here from what I gather. He's the one that did all the leg work. In an attempt to find a fix he tried the pro version. There is nobody that I know trying to screw you around. I'm here asking that the bug get fixed, and nothing more. I'm also not a dishonest person and do not appreciate being referred to as one publicly. I only wanted to give as much detail as I could to help the cause.

Wow someones snarky, all he was saying is that your account didn't appear to be registered for the Pro version, no reason to fly off the handle like that.

I don't think they should help you now :p

frank the pro version was not used only the lite. Not sure what made you think the pro version was used/installed on your forums

Could you please create and PM me with a temporary FTP and AdminCP account?

For security reasons, we recommend you create a new FTP account only for DBTech support, then disable or delete it after we have both confirmed the issue has been solved and there are no further issues.

The same applies to AdminCP accounts; they should ideally be temporary accounts created for us only. If we have created an account on your site already, you can optionally boost that account to Administrator and then de-admin this account once the issue has been solved.

If you use a .htaccess password protection for your AdminCP directory, it is recommended that you create a new authorised user for DBTech and remove this user once the issue has been solved.

Please test any temporary accounts you create to ensure that the FTP account has access to the forum files, and that the AdminCP account can access the administrative controls for the product we are assisting you with.

Ensuring this is all in order before submitting the information will significantly speed up the process of assisting you. We will alert you via PM if there's any issues with the login information you have provided.

When sending the PM, for your security you should also un-tick the "Save a copy in my Sent Items folder" checkbox. When the access details have been received, we will delete the PM from our inbox. Ensuring you have not kept a copy of the PM reduces the risk of security breaches.

Thank you for helping us debug our products and allowing us to assist you, we appreciate it :D

Great and thank you.

Can you tell are there specific settings which will stop rewriting the links members paste into their messages? The ones that are especially annoying are those that link to other posts on the forum and get rewritten, plus a few going to external sites.

In the DBSEO CP -> SEO Settings -> General Settings, there are settings for Link Titles :)

Members said right after you got this plugin live on the site that they are unable to create a blog with adding a image in it. We had to disable the plugin. Any idea why this is happening, or how to fix it?

Can you please provide step-by-step instructions for how to replicate this issue?

This Plugin has my board Down and not useable. So far NO posting of any kind. After installing the recent update v1.0.16 The following error appeared at the top of all pages.

Notice: Undefined index: SERVER_ADDR in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\forums.multicopterpilots.com\dbseo.php on line 11

I go to Line 11 of the dbseo.php file and it's referencing the server IP address. The address itself looks odd "192.168.0.20".
I edit the file to now read "192.168.0.2" and reload it. However there was No Change. The same error still shows and the board remains unusable.

I need some quick with my site basically being down. At the time of posting this I so far have been unable to get temporary ftp access. Maybe you can give me a few things to try until I can PM you admin access and ftp?

This should be fixed in v1.0.17 if you re-download the product and re-upload the files :)

As the issue in the OP has now been taken care of, I'm closing this thread :)
