CMS does not work, the page returns "Error 404. Not Found. The requested URL / content / was not found on this server."

I've had a problem with another identical seo-mod and I discovered that my server is fast-cgi. I created a topic here to ask the question. copy and paste the content here:

My provider does not have mod_rewrite enabled

I am no expert, I only know that my provider has FastCGI web server with only a very small set of rewrite directives.
I've never tried vBSEO, but another yes: "OdiSeo", but I had problems with the CMS page (with the forum and the blog no).

1. What information do you need because you can guarantee that DBSeo work on my site (I do not have direct access to the php.ini file)?

I have more questions:

2. Now I'm using the default vbulletin mod_rewrite and .htaccess file included in the folder "do not upload" of vbulletin installation pack. When I install DBSeo, I can replace the vbulletin .htaccess file with DBSeo .htaccess file without making any modification to the code?

3. After installing of DBSEO, URLs indexed by Google will return an error?

Thank youuuu!! Ciao!!

Server: Linux
Server Web: Apache v2.4.7 (cgi-fcgi)
PHP: 5.3.28
MySQL Version: 5.0.92-enterprise-gpl-log

DBTech SEO is now OFF.

If I add .php to URL, my CMS is visibile. Next, if I open an article, page not found, with this error: "The requested URL /content/55-mercedes-cigarette-racing-presentano-vision-gt-speedboat.html was not found on this server."

Thank! ;)

DragonByte SEO requires the full mod_rewrite module installed & enabled. If your host does not have this, then DBSEO cannot function.

You said previously you had never tried vBSEO, only OdiSEO. I've never heard of that mod before, so I can't tell you why it would work on your server whereas vBSEO / DBSEO would not.

Hehe.. No! I said that vBSEO work on server LIKE my server. When i tried OdiSEO, there was more than one user with the same my server (same provider, same package, same OS), some of them have solved the problem by installing vBSEO. My frined Max_69 write this post on OdiSEO forum -> LINK (but is in Italian :p)

Their response was: for the safety. Because it's a shared host.

I have opened a ticket for ask to enable all features of mod_rewrite.

Eehhmm... I found this in .htaccess file:
Code:
# If you are having problems with the rewrite from content/ to content.php, uncomment this line to turn MultiViews off.
# Options -MultiViews

Line uncomment and now CMS work.
