Bug Wrong Seo links for the DB Review

Could you please create and PM me with a temporary FTP and AdminCP account?

For security reasons, we recommend you create a new FTP account only for DBTech support, then disable or delete it after we have both confirmed the issue has been solved and there are no further issues.

The same applies to AdminCP accounts; they should ideally be temporary accounts created for us only. If we have created an account on your site already, you can optionally boost that account to Administrator and then de-admin this account once the issue has been solved.

If you use a .htaccess password protection for your AdminCP directory, it is recommended that you create a new authorised user for DBTech and remove this user once the issue has been solved.

Please test any temporary accounts you create to ensure that the FTP account has access to the forum files, and that the AdminCP account can access the administrative controls for the product we are assisting you with.

Ensuring this is all in order before submitting the information will significantly speed up the process of assisting you. We will alert you via PM if there's any issues with the login information you have provided.

When sending the PM, for your security you should also un-tick the "Save a copy in my Sent Items folder" checkbox. When the access details have been received, we will delete the PM from our inbox. Ensuring you have not kept a copy of the PM reduces the risk of security breaches.

Thank you for helping us debug our products and allowing us to assist you, we appreciate it :D

Hi Fillip H.,
I have installed now, also on my other forum SEF and also here just now fresh of install, if I go on the Reviews page, it shows me this link: Sigaretta Elettronica Forum

Reviews 2 times.

The same that succeeded me here on VF.
So it's a problem of the plugin not of my forum.. it's true?

That is working as intended. The first part of it is a static word, and the second part of it is the "shortname" of the review instance in the AdminCP.

In other words, if you customise your DBSEO URL format you will be able to change your URL structure to for instance domain.com/articles/review/

Does that make sense?

Maybe. I have to make some test.
Thanks for the tip.

So is there also another important thing that I want ask you:
When I see an item, there are the the photos of the item, so is there a way when they click on the image to see the image with a new tab that enlarge the image? In 400x400px is impossible to see the items and the function of the plugin is lost, because is a plugin for reviews.

Could you show me a screenshot of the specific area you're referring to?

Ok thanks Fillip.
But is it possible to enlarge a little also the standard image size of the upside photos? Because in this way are really too much small...

And also...
One of my users have wrote a review, I can see it in the acp but isn't shown in the reviews home page.
It is also shown like approved.

If I follow the link I can see it: Viewing Review: Istick 50 watt - Sigaretta Elettronica Forum

But if I go in the home page of the reviews isn't shown any review: Reviews - Sigaretta Elettronica Forum

And if I enable the DBseo on the reviews and I click on the review button it redirect me to the home page of the forum.

Hi FIllip any news?

In the end look that the problem is in the Seo plugin.
I'm having 2000 problems with the Seo plugin. True that is not updated, (because when I bought the plugin I had few funds and I bought a 3 month version) but also if I haven't the last release I wanted a working plugin. :(
I haven't nothing upgraded the VB version from when I have installed the Plugin and each day arrive me by email many many errors of the plugin, and often the forum crash when we try to send a post... can you please help me to fix this? :(

Tested but it doesn't work. :(

I have corrected the issues with not being able to see the reviews. The issue was that no category had been created, so the database had incorrect values.

If you want to change the URLs, let me know exactly what you want to change from and to (type out the full URL how you would like it to look) and I'll try to assist you :)

The links you posted are designed to work that way, the 3rd "review" is to tell the script you're viewing a review, not just the list of reviews.

For the new reviews, can you inspect the dbtech_reviews_reviews DB table and check their instanceid and category ID columns?

Ah ok! I have understood. :)
So one is for the instance of the plugin, the second is for the listing and the 3 is for the review.

Then I have seen that the review added in the db have instanceid and the categoryid setted to 0
and not to 1.
I can manual change it, but how can I set this always in this way?

I'll look into it @ your site, as that should not happen. I'll post back when I have more information for you :)
