Hey guys,
testing this as a Lite version and probably will get the Pro version if it all works well.

I am testing this being logged in as "admin". Checked all the permissions in the instance settings.
I did a test also logged in as a "testuser" in a different usergroup. Checked all boxes again but when trying to visit the Reviews I get the error "No permission"

I have a couple issues:
When I put text into the big Editor box and click on "preview" the editor box and YouTube box is empty. Same happens when I want to edit a review.
Also when adding a Review there is nothing where I can rate the product (stars).
I imported previous reviews from another mod which worked fine but In the overview page all the Ratings are just grey.
No matter if I try to edit the imported onces or the added one with this mod the boxes are always grey without an option to rate.

Any assistance would be appreciated
Thanks

Could you please create and PM me with a temporary FTP and AdminCP account?

For security reasons, we recommend you create a new FTP account only for DBTech support, then disable or delete it after we have both confirmed the issue has been solved and there are no further issues.

The same applies to AdminCP accounts; they should ideally be temporary accounts created for us only. If we have created an account on your site already, you can optionally boost that account to Administrator and then de-admin this account once the issue has been solved.

If you use a .htaccess password protection for your AdminCP directory, it is recommended that you create a new authorised user for DBTech and remove this user once the issue has been solved.

Please test any temporary accounts you create to ensure that the FTP account has access to the forum files, and that the AdminCP account can access the administrative controls for the product we are assisting you with.

Ensuring this is all in order before submitting the information will significantly speed up the process of assisting you. We will alert you via PM if there's any issues with the login information you have provided.

When sending the PM, for your security you should also un-tick the "Save a copy in my Sent Items folder" checkbox. When the access details have been received, we will delete the PM from our inbox. Ensuring you have not kept a copy of the PM reduces the risk of security breaches.

Thank you for helping us debug our products and allowing us to assist you, we appreciate it :D

I am unable to replicate this issue on your site.
Also when adding a Review there is nothing where I can rate the product (stars).
The reason for that is that there are no Questions defined for any of your review instances, so there's nothing for the system to show ratings for at this time. Use "Question Management" to add a question so reviewers and users can rate the review.

I'm not sure what you mean by this, could you elaborate please? Screenshots would also be helpful :)

Thanks for looking into it.

I reinstalled the Mod and for some reason everything works fine now with the editor box.
Thanks for pointing out the "question" I need to set. Ratings work now.
This solved also the ratings for the imported reviews.

Just one more thing.
You need to be logged in as admin to view this as it is only visible to me for now.
On the main page with all the side boxes there is one for "Categories". When you click on one of them it leads to an empty page even when there are reviews in that particular category.

If this can be solved then I should be due for the PRO version :)

Fillip,
any luck in solving this issue?

Please make sure display_errors is turned on and SKIP_ALL_ERRORS is not enabled in config.php.

I added this to my config.php:
ini_set('display_errors', 1);

and now when clicking on the Category links I get this.
Note I replaced one of the directories with xxxxxx below. Just not to show everything in public here

Fatal error: Call to undefined method DBTECH_REVIEW_EXTENSION::fetch_navbits() in /home/xxxxxxxxx/public_html/v4/forums/dbtech/review/actions/main.php on line 42

I've added a hotfix to /dbtech/review/includes/class_module.php for v1.0.8pl2 that should resolve this :)

Glad to hear it :)

If you have any further issues or questions, please feel free to submit a new support ticket. Thanks!
