I just purchased the lifetime version of DragonByte Review 1.0.7, and love the seamless integration into the Admin CP. Installation went great, but I am having some issues with employing the mod on my site. I was under the impression that I could have this mod integrated into all subforums...

Example: on my site users would click North Carolina>Fort Bragg/Pope AAF>Restaurants. They would then initiate a review of a restaurant called Mash House for example, and that review would display under the 'Restaurants' category for that area. Other users could then rate Mash House off of this initial review.

This would give me an accumulation of reviews/ratings of different categories, i.e. restaurants, health care, communities, etc in different geographic locations...

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks,
Cody

I don't believe that's currently a feature of the Reviews mod. Is this listed in the feature list somewhere? I'm not the original developer, so I don't have full knowledge of the mod just yet.

I think there may have been a miscommunication somewhere. I talked with you via email a couple weeks back before purchasing this mod, and based on what I had described to you, you had said that it would work just fine. I can forward the email to you if you would like. But maybe I could have done a better job of explaining what I was trying to accomplish.

That being said, what are my options now? Is there any way to make this mod do what I am trying to do? Again, I was really needing this mod to give me the ability to have a bunch of different categories (subforums really) that can be rated on by users. I would greatly appreciate any help I can get.

Here's your question, from the email you forwarded me:
With this mod can I allow users to create reviews on say, a restaurant, and then have other users review off of this initial restaurant review and obtain a cumulative rating?

And here's my answer, from the email you forwarded me:
Yes, our Reviews mod does allow for a cumulative rating of reviews :)

I do not see anything even remotely related to review categories appearing as subforums in your question or in my answer. If you could point out specifically what part of your question, or my answer, refers to subforums, I'll be sure to avoid such ambiguity in answering similar queries in the future :)

This mod was only designed to have a dedicated navbar tab called "Reviews" where you can categorise, view and rate reviews.

If you require this functionality right now, and you're not willing to wait for us to create this functionality, you can hire us to create this functionality by filling out the form on this page: Custom Work - DragonByte Tech | vBulletin Mods & Addons

Do note that as this is a very complex piece of functionality, it's likely to cost somewhere in the lower end of four figures.
