Not sure if this is even necessary as it may work this way by default but...

I have some Private Forums on my site. Some members have access to some of these forums while some do not. If member A is following member B and member B posts in a private forum, member A should not get a notification of that action.

The reason for this on my site is the members who do not have access to any particular private forum, may not know of their existence at all. Receiving a notification of a posting to a forum they don't know about and don't have access to is useless to the following member. For example I have a Mod/Admin forum. Someone following a moderator shouldn't see them posting in the private mod/admin forum. It may also cause some dissent as to why one has access and the other doesn't. I can't see that any reasonable person would cause trouble over that but it's the interwebs and we've all run into "WTF" types out there.

So if Administrators would have the ability to select which forums should not be part of the notification it would be wonderful. I do understand that even if they get the notification they won't be able to access the private forum for which they don't have permission. However I'm just trying to think of a way to maintain the privacy of those forums across the board.

ps.
love this mod

If the user A does not have permission to view forum X, and user B posts in that forum, they should not get any notice of the post being made. This was implemented in the latest version. ;)
