I would like to know how to disable the Main Navbar link in the Navbar, As I am running the vbAdvance CMPS when I am on my home page the link for the Gallery is highlighted as if I was on that actual link. I am running the default style for vBulletin.

I looked in the Naviagtion Manager under "Settings" and there is nothing there so I am guessing it is located somewhere else. Once I get that disabled then I would create a new link in the navigation Manager.

I have also looked in the settings for the Gallery to see if there was a section to enable/disable the link as most mods have and I did not see any there as well.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

This is a bug in vBAdvanced. There are 4 navbar-related plugins in vBAdvanced and if they are disabled, the normal vBulletin navbar works as intended.

If you do not feel comfortable doing this yourself, I can do it alongside the issue from your other thread.

Thank you for your reply. Yes I would not feel comfortable doing this as I have too much stuff on my site now to screw anything up and then have to redo everything from scratch.

Thank you again.

I've reconfigured your navbar so that the Home tab shows on your CMPS page. You can add sub-menu entries to the Home tab via the standard navigation manager in order to add any menu entries you may want :)

Hello,

I have ran into this issue again and it affects a couple different tabs now. I think it happened once I installed the VBNavtabs.

Here are the issues:

Clicking Forum it highlights the Gallery tab
Clicking Members it highlights the Shop tab
Clicking Articles it highlights the Gallery tab

If you can tell me how you fixed this issue before I would be more then happy to give it a try. If not your Admin and FTP accounts are still setup in the database.

Thank you for your time once again.

Ron S.

This is not a bug, someone had removed the value of the "Tab Script(s)" setting for your Forum tab in the Navigation Manager. Restoring the vBulletin default configuration resolved the issue :)

Not sure who would have done that as I am the only one who has been messing with the Navigation Manager and never saw that value for the "Tab Script(s)". However I would like to know where to check this stuff out as there are still issues with some of the tabs.

For instance if you click on the Members tab, the Shop tab is highlighted and when you click on Articles the Gallery tab is highlighted.

Just would like to know where to search for these issues when they arrive upon install mods.

Thanks.

This appears to be a bug with the eCommerce or the Member Index script, I would recommend you contact the author of those products for assistance. I cannot immediately detect any issues with these scripts, leading me to believe one of them is using the Navigation Manager incorrectly.

and when you click on Articles the Gallery tab is highlighted.
The "Tab Script(s)" value for the Articles tab should be articles, I've set this for you.

If a mod inserts an incorrect entry into the Navigation Manager, as most of your third party products seem to do, you need to open the PHP file the navigation entry points to and read the value of the THIS_SCRIPT definition, and use that as the value of the "Tab Script(s)" setting.

Ok I see what you have done and I have done same with the Memberlist/Shop. I got that working properly.

THANK you for sharing that info with me. Now I know what to do if that ever occurs again.

Again thank you for your help and your knowledge. Very much appreciated.

Ron
