Legacy Gallery2 conversion

I've written a conversion utility (a replacement for acpimport.php) to bring our Gallery2 data into Dragonbyte Gallery. The migration will happen in a few weeks:

1) Is anyone else interested in this? If so I'll write it up and post it here.

2) We will need a licence, but I haven't got "sign-off" for the conversion yet. If I run a conversion on the demo version and they're happy we'll probably go live with it and then buy the licence - I'm assuming I won't need to reinstall )

1) With your permission we could add it to the core product - it would be easier if you wrote it as an extension of the existing Import class rather than a full replacement though :)

2) To upgrade from Lite to Pro, you re-download the product from the Client Area, re-upload the files and re-import the XML. This does not erase any of your data, it simply adds new options / templates / etc. The database structure is identical :)

That's a great idea, It'd be a shame to write it and not have anyone else use it. Could I leave the packaging to you? I'll just send you the replacement acpimport module and you can build it in to the class properly, give it a new name and release it.

I've actually got it working now I just need to add some checking. It's pretty easy to use but to stop it from tripping over transaction time limits I've limited it to just a couple of albums each time so I have to sit there clicking "submit". I need to figure out how to get it to refresh itself. I've seen it done.

We've set the image size at the instance level to 1600x1600, will that be OK or will lite shrink the images to 800x600? I think once people have seen the first converted gallery they''ll be happy anyway, but I don't want to convert a larger gallery (we have five) until I know the images will come across full size.
