Somehow it is showing content in the slider for member etc (not for admins) more than it should.

Normaly there are only 2 Items but if i logout or go online with another account i see 5 things wich shouldn't be :/

Is this possible to get fixed ?

This could be a guest full page cache issue, are you running any form of cache like CloudFlare?

This is not an issue I am able to replicate anywhere. Make sure you have set both the CMS and the Forum widget to the same amount of threads/other content types.

It is showing the wrong stuff.

I have selected, that it should show from one category only. But it shows from everything

If I were to go to your site right now as a guest, can you please illustrate which of the 5 slider items are from an incorrect category?

Well, if i set the number to 2 (max shown posts) it shows for members the wrong posts.

i mad a new category, that is called Spoiler.

There are 2 Items. I see them correctly but the users see other posts from everything else but not the slider category

Can you please answer the question from my previous post? I am aware that the number of items are incorrect for you, but I need the answer to my previous question.

Could you please create and PM me with a temporary FTP and AdminCP account?

For security reasons, we recommend you create a new FTP account only for DBTech support, then disable or delete it after we have both confirmed the issue has been solved and there are no further issues.

The same applies to AdminCP accounts; they should ideally be temporary accounts created for us only. If we have created an account on your site already, you can optionally boost that account to Administrator and then de-admin this account once the issue has been solved.

If you use a .htaccess password protection for your AdminCP directory, it is recommended that you create a new authorised user for DBTech and remove this user once the issue has been solved.

Please test any temporary accounts you create to ensure that the FTP account has access to the forum files, and that the AdminCP account can access the administrative controls for the product we are assisting you with.

Ensuring this is all in order before submitting the information will significantly speed up the process of assisting you. We will alert you via PM if there's any issues with the login information you have provided.

When sending the PM, for your security you should also un-tick the "Save a copy in my Sent Items folder" checkbox. When the access details have been received, we will delete the PM from our inbox. Ensuring you have not kept a copy of the PM reduces the risk of security breaches.

Thank you for helping us debug our products and allowing us to assist you, we appreciate it :D

The slider uses user permissions to load content into the slider. The new forum you created is only accessible by admins, not normal users. That is why you are seeing different content than them. If you everyone to be able to see the same content, then you need to make the permissions the same for the areas you are allowing to be loaded into the slider.

As of right now, as a guest, regular user, and admin, I am only seeing 2 items in the slider, which is exactly how your permissions are set up. So as Fillip H. mentioned, everything is currently working as designed. I'd be happy to look at it further if you still feel something is incorrect, or if you just don't fully understand all of the settings.

It would have to be done with Forum permissions, not anything with the Slider. It should be possible, but I don't want to be the one messing with your forum permissions.
