I'll just ask you this here as well.

I get around 200 threads a day on my forum. 10 of those I want to post into this slider. I will pick and choose and use my own image. Would this work with this add on?

With the custom content items, you can basically do what you are asking, although it will be completely manual. I would suggest trying the lite version out and seeing if it works for you.

Please ensure all the plugins for the vBSlider are enabled in the plugin manager, as the error is because a plugin either is disabled or the plugin files didn't get uploaded properly. If all of the plugins are enabled, then try reuploading all of the files.

Thank you for your response. Let's see if it works out for me.

I am trying to show custom content on to a widget on my home page. I have added a few enteries but it is not showing. Any idea, what am I doing wrong there?

When you say your homepage, I assume you mean the CMS? Do you see the slider at all? If not, have you gone to your layout manager and placed the slider widget on the layout you want it on? If yes, but you just aren't seeing the content in the slider, on the settings page for the CMS, have you entered a quantity for custom content entries?

Yes, its CMS. Yes I did add vbslider widget there but it doesn't show anything at all. I played around with it for around 3 hours. Tried all the options and everything but still no luck.

It will be nice, If you can take a look at it for me.

Ok this is weird.

If this add on is enabled, it stops showing the widget, as soon I disable the widget starts showing.

Whats up with that?

That may have been due to the CMS cache. Whenever I do any changes to the CMS, I always clear the cache, so I didn't even think about that being the issue. Glad you got it working though!
