I'm wondering how I can get the high scores and trophies working for my site and members for games that have a Local Scoring?

not on my website no but at the end of the game im getting a leaderboard that pops up that I put my name in I got gold first place in a game last night but did not get a trophy and there is no high score in my arcade, really there is nothing that says I even played that game in my arcade

Here are the current reasons why scores might not be submitting on your site:
  • The permissions for you and that game have not been set to Score (as opposed to Play or Record)
  • The game has been set to not accept local scoring
  • The game has been set to the wrong scoring system
  • Your game session has not submitted the score
  • Your .htaccess file has not been altered correctly (usually indicated by errors during product import)
  • Your arcade is set to archive your non-best scores, and that was not your best score
  • Your site is behind a server password prompt
  • Mochi: you do not have your publisher id or secret filled in
  • Mochi: you are running the arcade from localhost
ALMOST ALWAYS is it the first bullet, check that first, the next two are USUALLY set automatically, MOST games will have a well-informed score submission time (though I've seen games that send without telling you, and some that don't actually send despite claiming it), the fifth bullet will usually throw installer errors/messages, and the sixth bullet should at least show some scores from somewhere being saved. Usually games can't post through your password prompt, and especially not if you are using mochi, which sends scores from their remote servers without your forum session.

Do only specific games, or specific scoring systems, or all games not save scoring for yourself, specific usergroups, or everyone?

Check all that our and report back with your findings. If none of the above works the issue will be troubleshot further

I will get back to this, as soon as I get my site fixed I have had all plugins disabled for almost a week!!!

As soon as I get every thing fixed and have my plugins enabled I will be back to this thread to do the whole check list thing to your "current reasons"

Ok im back website all straightened out now back to the arcade

Now where was I

Oh Yes

Ahem Ahem

Where do I do, edit, or find where to do this?

The permissions for you and that game have not been set to Score (as opposed to Play or Record)

I been looking around but cant find where to see if that is set

I don't see a vB Arcade settings in the usergroup settings

You can edit each of your games via the AdminCP and check the scoring permissions there :)

Ok Here is the game score settings, And the other is my arcade for the high score I got in that game did not recorded but I did get the trophy

Ok I got the leaderboard working its a bit silly lol there was 2 not done and the other was not mentioned

1. Mochi: you do not have your publisher id or secret filled in

2. The one that was not mentioned id (Setting the Decimals)

Glad you got it sorted, thanks for posting back :)
