Hi, I haven't written a game for about 15 years since I worked in London coding games for the PS2 and PC, those were the days. Anyway got the itch to write more games in my spare time. I run a car club forum for Classic and American vehicles. I will be writing a car related game, possibly top down 2D game.
I'm still looking at the language to program in, but its likely to be MonkeyX as a few friends have given it good ratings. It will run in a web browser, and looks like there is an option to produce SWF files.

I know you can't give advice on particular languages, but what I will need to know at some point is how does the score get submitted to the forum database, is it via a 'form get' type arrangement? I mean what does the forum arcade want to see to get a score submitted.

Thanks
Dan.

vBArcade does not have its own scoring system, it is designed to work with other scoring systems like ibProArcade and v3Arcade. Unfortunately I don't know the details of their scoring systems :(

No problem, I can post on their forum. I thought I'd come here first as the mod came from here.
Thats good though, at least its another step in my journey to find the answer. :) thanks for the reply.

No problem :) I'd avoid mentioning vBArcade when you're posting on their forums, as it may make them less willing to help you.

If you have any further issues or questions, please feel free to start a new support ticket. Thanks!
