a couple questions for you

#1 does vbshoutpro work on the frontpage of CMS? think most other shoutbox's are having trouble doing this properly.
#2 is it possible to have the shoutbox formatted differently? traditionally the textbox display is under the shoutbox, it has an easier feel to it. rather than having it on the side.

That hasn't been tested, but it will be tested and implemented in the next version of the Shoutbox for sure :)

That will also be an option in the next version :)

doing you have any ETA on this? :) our forum group would like to purchase the lifetime subscription to the shoutbox if/when these features get implemented.

The aim is within the next 2 days, but that can change depending on bugs emerging, emergency support situations etc =)

I can verify that it works fine on the CMS pages, I had it there myself in testing. vb 4.0.2

I removed it simply because I wanted to place it in another location than the default and I need to specifically include it in a few places, etc... anyway, it worked fine for me on the CMS.

An update on the CMS thing, I've revamped the way the Shoutbox inserts itself, so in 4.1 you'll be able to specify exactly what templates it's available in, which means it'll work on a greater number of pages :)
I verified myself that it'll work on the CMS.

The way the text area is placed is next on my ToDo list, I'll post back here when it's done, and I'll have a demo up on this site as soon as possible :)
It'll be user selectable, so you'll be able to test it out yourself :D

noticed one other tiny thing, maybe it has more options in the admin side that i cant see. but detaching the shoutbox seems to load in 2 shoutboxes that arent any bigger than the one on the frontpage.
