Best bet is to check the blog for info on when to expect mods to be released etc. We're looking to put vBDonate into open beta (where you can purchase it) in the next 2-3 weeks.

Like Decado said it should be in open beta in the next 2 - 3 weeks, it is taking longer in closed beta to make sure it is functioning correctly, and to get as many added features to it.
vBDonate has won Mod of the Month for January 2013 at vBulletin.org.Thanks to everyone who voted and made this happen.

Just keep a eye on the blogs or the email that is sent, you will find out when it's available by any of those two.
