I use Psonic Vision's Hide Hack, expanded version, but because he gives no support and has not updated it for years now. (And there are endless issues with it) I am seriously thinking about your mod. However the main issue for me is whether it will be possible to hide only attachments, like rar or zip files, and not attached screenshots or images. I don't think it is currently possible with yours. Would it be possible to perhaps add that function? And would it be possible to import the thanks received from his mod to yours?

I would also have to change the hide codes in current posts to yours. Man, this is now starting to sound to complicated for myself......lol

Well, I wouldn't know if I don't ask. Maybe you guys can help me with this. I would really greatly appreciate it. And is off course also willing to pay for extra work and so.

Thanks.

Hiding only certain attachment types is not currently supported, no.

Currently only Abe's Post Thank You Hack is supported for imports.

I'm not sure if we would have time to undertake any custom work at the moment but Cosmic can check with the team if you're serious about it :)

I just purchased the mod to at least show that I am serious. Please guys, can you help me on this. Even if it is just the part where we can distinguish between a rar, zip file and so, and normal attached screenshots.

Thanks so much!

I'm gonna be looking into this today / tonight, I'm not 100% sure how easy it is to differentiate between various attachment types and remove only some of them.

I'll post back with research results :)

Well, I just realized after configuring everything, that you guys don't have to actually do anything. When an attachment is inserted inline in a post you can see it, whether you require 'Thanks' or not. So what I have done now is to just not have the rar/zip, etc. inline. So you will see the attached images, that are attached inline, but you will not see the attachment....rar/zip and so until you clicked the "thanks" button. I don't know whether you were aware of this, but it really makes a big difference. If I knew this, I would have bought this a long time ago. So, maybe add this in the description of the mod.

And thank you so much for your willingness to look into this.

One person's unfixable bug is another person's life-saving feature :D

Thanks for the notification :)
