I understand this is probably completely false but I am going to ask the question anyway.
This is my understanding.
When you purchase the Pro version you may use this forever and only get support until the selected time limit ends.
If you purchase Pro Lifetime you get support and upgrades for the life of that specific product.
If that is wrong please correct me.
Now if my URL and or Site changes I am still allowed to run this Pro version product in it's Pro state as long as it is only on my 1 site.
I would think the DragonByte Tech License is much like the VB license. If you move to another URL with a different Domain name you simply update your information on site.

The main reason I am asking is because some claim to have purchased the DragonByte Tech Pro products and then moved and say DragonByte Tech claims the products are stolen. This is very unreasonable and very hard for me to believe the site owners are telling the truth.
I personally think they are running software from a friend and in fact never purchased DragonByte Tech products to begin with.
I have only purchased 1 Pro product but I am getting ready to purchase quite a few and some with Lifetime support.

I just want to be clear on this issue.

True to a degree, we will offer support on the products even if the license is expired, up to a certain point, if the product version is so outdated we may not be able to support it, but will always try to help.

True, if you switch domains you would simply need to update the license settings in your customer area.

More often than not it is a illegal version, they got the files from a friend, or from a unauthorized site peddling our products, which IMO is a dumb move, as the person/persons who provided those files could have added code in there to be able to gain access to your sites, or even some code to gain access to your pc.

Even if a user who purchased a license, changed there site without updating the site in their customer area, we still can see if that user actually purchased the mod under that username.

I have only purchased 1 Pro product but I am getting ready to purchase quite a few and some with Lifetime support.

I just want to be clear on this issue.

To expand upon the support policy: We will be unable to provide bug fixes for outdated versions, so if someone reports a potential bug in the software and I cannot replicate it on the latest version, then we'll ask the person to upgrade to the latest version.

"How Do I?" questions will always be answered, though if the question is "can the mod do this" and the feature has been added in a later version, the answer may be incorrect for the version in question. We'll try to avoid this wherever possible, but it's hard to remember what feature we added when in several dozen products ;)
