Does vbAnalytics track exit links?

Hello! I had been looking over your analytics plugin and from what I can tell it doesn't seem to support exit link tracking.

For example, I want it to track every time someone clicks a link to download a file from an external source.

Is this not a feature or am I missing it? Pro feature maybe?

I would love to have a tracking program that does this and doesn't require monthly subscriptions to be useful. If your tracker does not do this, then how about any suggestions for one that does?

I don't believe it does that no, and I'm not sure if it would be possible without applying an extra "step" to every out link.

The problem is that you can't have multiple such out link trackers, since once the links are rewritten any other mods couldn't also override them.

I don't see that as being a problem, because you only need one tracker. I currently use Google Analytics but it doesn't track exit links, only referring pages.

I have also found statscounter.com that tracks exit links - but they cost a lot to have a useful log that doesn't delete entries in a few hours.

Just looking for other options is all.

It's not exactly true that you only need 1 tracker, there's multiple mods that may wish to override out links. For instance, you may wish to track out links, but you also want to use a service like anonym.to to mask the "referral" header when linking to certain sites.

We can't really make assumptions that "people will only need 1 of x", is what I'm saying
