Hello,

Will Dbtech seo redirect my current Vbulletin urls to the old version of Vbseo urls I had a couple months ago? I no longer have Vbseo installed so I will need help figuring out the url setting using webmaster tools or my current htaccess which has the redirects from the old.

The problem is that I have many broken urls after removing Vbseo. I did manage to redirect a ton of them but many are not working.

I also wanted to know if there is an easy way to add redirects manually for individual urls and directories?

Last question - If I pay for installation will you set up the urls for me so the current mod rewrite Vbulletin urls point to the Vbseo urls?

Thanks

DBSEO will be able to redirect your vB4 Friendly URLs to its new format :)

DBSEO features the same Custom 301 Redirects and Custom Rewrite Rules settings as vBSEO :)

Do you still have the vbseo directory on your server, even if it is not installed in your product list? If so, we can absolutely import your URLs for you as a part of the installation process :)

If not, then sadly no :(

The Pro Install normally only covers installation of a product, not setup. However, we sometimes do basic setup (such as importing vBSEO configuration, enabling sitemap generation, turning on the best cache functionality in vBOptimise, etc). Reading your URL structure from a htaccess file and configuring DBSEO would sadly fall outside the definition of basic setup :(

I can do a basic install and setting import in 5 minutes. I also believe I have the Vbseo xml I can upload and import settings from. This is easy and not worth $75 for me. I can do this myself. The issue is redirecting my current urls to the new ones. I am not very efficient when it comes to htaccess or rewrite rules.

As for using htaccess to get the format from this most likely isn't necessary if I still have the xml back up from vbseo. This is where your script imports from? Right?

Oh well, I'm thinking about it. You guys are great but this is a bit pricey for me especially with having to pay $75 extra just to remove links. I will let you know. Thanks for everything

Our Professional Install costs $30, not $75 :)

If your current URLs are either standard vB URLs or any of the Friendly URL formats you can select in the vBOptions, then it will redirect seamlessly :)

In /vbseo/resources/xml/config.xml exists on your server, then yes you can import, as that's where the importer looks for it :)

Thanks, I got the branding removal fee confused with the install fee. I do not need the basic install as it is very easy.

## Good to know. I have the mod rewrite Vbulletin urls. I thought perhaps I would have to manually write rewrites, etc so that is good if the settings are there.

I believe I have the xml and can just upload it with the directory structure to import the settings from. I just have to think about my finances to see if I can afford it right now.

Thanks for the fast response.
