A few pieces of news this week. First vBSignatures v1.0.1 has been released, along with a Lite version. You can read all about that here.
There is a new addon pack for vBSignatures adding an entirely new setup of signature images and options to vBSignatures. This pack is a "City" themed pack which has significantly more input areas for various small bits of info. Great for tech/hardware based forums amongst other things. Read all about it here.
DBTechs latest Secret Mod has been revealed as vBDonate, and it is now in closed beta. You can read more here.
User Threads has gone gold after a very stable Beta, and is also available in a Lite flavour now. You can read about it here.
vBEditorTabs has also gone gold this week, which you can read more on at this location.

Belazor's Corner
Something different this week. I'm in a foul mood due to all sorts of stuff falling through last minute and me being a grumpy bastard of a scotsman, so this week Decado's Corner becomes Belazor's Corner. Without any further ado...
"While it may not look it, this week has actually been quite hectic. Myself and Iain assisted our friends over at FinalFantasyForums.net with their upgrade from vBulletin 3.8.x to vBulletin 4.1.12.
I'm actually hugely impressed by not only the speed and stability of the vBulletin 4 upgrade script (1m posts upgraded in < 20 minutes, no errors) but also the vB3 to vB4 Style Converter included with vBulletin. It produced something that was fully usable, albeit not perfect.
Naturally there were a lot of other things to fix, such as re-importing the XML files of all DBTech mods (yay for vBulletin version-agnostic PHP code!) and finding replacements for existing mods, but thankfully the fixes were all modification-related - the community itself had no problems adjusting to vB4 (even applauding some features like the Auto-save feature of CKEditor).
Anyone running a large board thinking about upgrading shouldn't be afraid to take the plunge if this community's experience is anything to go by.
In other Belazorian news, xenForo... Oh man... I'm not going to slam xF for being difficult to get into, Kier and Mike have made a piece of software with a level of purity that puts to shame every other program I've dug into the source code for. It really is a piece of art.
That being said, for someone who has absolutely zero experience with the Model-View-Controller principle... I think the most polite way I can put it is that it's a daunting task, and one that really tests my capabilities to follow a trail of breadcrumbs through the files."
