Quite a few rather large announcements these past couple of weeks:

vBShout v6 has been released bringing features such as creating threads from parts of the archive, a list of silenced/banned users and more. Read about the features here

New Mods:

Auto Thread Discussion Creator is a mod that functions in the same way as the news forum here on DBTech - when you create a news or announcement thread another thread is automagically created in another forum to allow users to discuss the news. You can read more about it here

Staff Only Hidden Posts is a mod that lets staff members make posts that only other staff members can see in public threads, allowing them to carry out private discussions within the thread. You can read more about it here

Lastly there are now Branding Free licenses available for our free mods, you can check them out under the "free mods" tab of vBecommerce

Decado's Corner

Hopefully you guys will enjoy the updates and the new mods - everybody likes free stuff, right? =D. On an unrelated note SOPA pretty much got killed today (yay!), now we just need PIPA to get the same treatment...

Fillip is back from his holiday in Norway and it should let us get to work on some new projects he has had lined up for a while. We're starting to get back into the swing of things in general after taking it easy during the holiday period and it's good to start getting back to work on larger projects again. Lots of stuff going on that I can't really talk about, but I can say that one of the things we're hoping to get out very soon is a copyright management mod that will let you display your DBTech copyrights in a much more condensed manner, rather than having tons of single lines at the bottom of your forum!

Hopefully you guys enjoy the vBShout v6 update, we managed to get in something like 65% of the requested features for this version, which is a little less than usual, but many of the requests were for features that were just too large (e.g an AI Bot script) unfortunately.
