DBTech News
A few new releases this week and more to come!
First off we have the release of #vBShop v3 Beta which adds almost TWENTY user-requested features. This will be an active open beta with more features being added over the next week or so. If you have requests make them quickly! You can read about the update here. Please note that vBShop may be undergoing a price rise when v3 goes gold, if you've been holding off on buying or updating your license, this is the time to do it!
We're also happy to announce that @Pandemikks new mod #DAR Dragonbyte Advanced Registration has been launched as an Open Beta. It significantly improves on the default registration process for vBulletin, adding things such as invites, a customizable registration page, guest redirect conditions and much more. Read all about it here.
We're also happy to announce that @Mokonzi has a new mod about to enter Closed Beta called Forum Tabs. Forum Tabs is a great visual overhaul for your forum where form follows function and improves your users experience no end. It will be going on DBTech in the next few days and you can read more in a special "Mokonzi's Corner" section of the blog below. If you want to participate in the Closed Beta let us know in the comments!
Lastly #APTL has received a small feature update based on user requests and now has a vBSEO Likes Importer included in both the lite and pro versions. You can read more here.
If you use/like APTL we'd appreciate it if you visited the vb.org threads and rated & nominated the mod. Especially useful since we have some trolls who 1 star all of our mods obsessively

Mokonzi's Corner
A special section this week where @Mokonzi gives some detail on his soon to be revealed DragonByte Forum Tabs mod! Without further ado, here's the man himself:
Forum Tabs is a forum tab modification that allows you to organize forums so that they appear only in certain tabs, allowing for the forum home to be reduced in length while allowing users to quickly navigate via AJAX powered tabs to reach the forums they want to access.
Forum Tabs allows for the tabs to be further organized into categories which also can contain style changes, letting you create sub sections of your forums that focus on a different subject and have the style to match it.
Forum Tabs will also allow favouriting of forums so that you can make sure that the forums you want to see regularly are placed in one tab for simplicity.
I realized a long time ago that my personal forum needed better categorizing and organizing, but until recently did not have the capabilities of putting such a mod together. Thanks to help from Darkwaltz4, Dylan and Fillip (and plenty of tips from the other DBTech guys) I've finally been able to get this mod developed and I'm looking forward to using it on my own site.
There are plenty of other ideas in the pipeline for how we can develop this mod further, more details of which will be revealed as we progress it's development.

Allo Ladies and Gents, miss me?
Back to firing on all cylinders here at DBTech, 2 new mods AND a huge update in the same week. How many other developers bring you that kind of workrate? More to come as well, Gallery and Arcade are both only 1-2 weeks out from their next versions going public, and both are pretty significant updates. vBSlider v3 isn't far behind either!
I've been playing quite a bit of minecraft recently, forgot how relaxing it could be! I like to take on huge projects - I just finished a 20,000+ block 99x99 pyramid and floating platform and i'm currently working on a 13,000 block tower with a double helix design. I tried to get into The Secret World with Fillip but the game is giving me all sorts of problems sadly. I'll probably give it another try next week if i have time. Meantime I have End of Nations and Planetside 2 Beta's to participate in. Everyone seems to launch their beta's on me at once!!!
Anyone seen the new Batman movie? I'm off to see it next Wednesday with my drinking buddy Sophie, who some of you might recognise from the gallery here on DBTech. Fair warning - if you post spoilers I will find you and I will kill you. Don't be that guy!
The update kick is likely to continue here at DBTech for the next few weeks. There might be a quiet period during the summer as we start prepping our mods for vB5, but we'll try to intersperse it with updates and such for you guys so you don't get bored!
Lastly, just for fun, this week i'm letting you guys pick a mod to be discounted next week. Just post the name of your mod in a comment below - the mod that gets the most comments/votes will be discounted next week =D
I look forward to your comments & feedback as always!
