User Threads mod, vBAvatars Gold, vBAnalytics updates, Security updates

Relatively quiet week, though here at DBTech that still means a new mod, a gold release, an update and security fixes.
The biggest news it the release of the first mod from @Mokonzi User Threads Beta. User Threads is an interesting mod that allow you to give users moderation rights over their own threads - either forumwide or on a per-forum permissions basis. You can give them permissions to edit, delete and even stick their thread as you see fit, each permission is individually settable per usergroup AND forum. In addition you can assign "immune" usergroups (for instance admins) who you do not want to be affected. You can read all about it here.
vBAvatars has gone gold after a steady beta period, and we have added a few new bases with different skin colours for your members to use. These will be automatically added when you update - no need for any further work on your part. You can read about this here.
vBAnalytics 1.1.1 has been released with a number of fixes and changes, which you can read about here. As well as v1.1.2 released tonight, which you can read about here.
Lastly, as well as vBulletin itself being updated to close an XSS vulnerability a number of DBTech products also had security fixes closing similar XSS issues we discovered during a security analysis of all of our mods. The fixes were vBShop, vBActivity / vBShout / Forumon RPG / vBDownloads / vBQuiz and a further release for vBShout - 6.0.7

The joint vB/xF modification will be dropping on vBulletin in the next 2 weeks, and Xenforo shortly afterwards.

@Ozzy47 will hopefully be releasing HIS new mod in the next 2 weeks.
Thanks for the feedback last week guys, I haven't approached anyone re: testimonials yet, but I plan to in the next few weeks.
Fillip is starting to work basically full time on XF this week. The next vB mod is vBSignatures which is more or less completed on the vB side. He'll be working on the xF version of vBAvatars first, then onto the xF version of Signatures - or at least that's the plan. Even the best laid plans of mice and men are apt to go awry though :P Exciting times! The response to these mods on XF will pretty much determine how much of a role we have in it going forward, if they sell well enough to justify the time outlay we'll likely start porting our mods over in blocks later in the year.
Hopefully after our in depth security audit this week that'll be the end of security updates - even vBulletin had an XSS vulnerability exposed. It's just been one of those weeks it seems :P. Hopefully us getting them out within 3 hours of them being discovered (on average), as well as discovering and patching a half dozen or so previously undiscovered in our security audit, meant there was no real impact to you guys.
I'm looking forward to the new mods from Brad and Chris. Brads is really interesting and something I hadn't even really considered, and Chris's is something that's been requested quite a few times. I also heard Gravity Insights is shutting down, which creates a little gap for vBAnalytics, hopefully that'll help inspire @Pandemikk to make vBAnalytics even bigger and better!
Sorry about the short and crap corner this week guys, blame it on me being tired :P
Thanks again for reading! I look forward to your comments here and your tweets to @DragonByteTech on twitter0 Thanks, 0 Likes, 0 Dislikes, 0
