First off congratulations to @Ozzy47 are in order after his vBDonate mod won January Mod of the Month over at vBulletin.org - this marks DBTechs 6th Mod of the Month at vb.org, tying the all time record.

This month we have 3 more mods nominated by you for Mod of the Month : Member Map, Advanced User Tagging and Follow User. Please do vote for your favourite modification, even if it's not ours. Every vote counts - we have personally lost by just a few votes before!

To celebrate we have two specials running this week. First our Award Winning Mods bundle which contains all 6 of the award winning DBTech mods, plus our Copyright Management mod bundled, all for 40% off the individual price.

We also have a special on vBDonate this month - 25% off using the code DonateMOTM through the whole of February.

We are pleased to announce the release of a new, free mod this week - ACP Shortcuts which dramatically reduces the time it takes to perform various mod install & upgrade functions. We can't do it justice here without hitting you with a wall of text, so check out the details in this thread.

In other release news Advanced Registration v2 is now gold bringing several great new features, the highlights being:

Registration Page Instances: Taking the customisable registration page concept further, v2 lets you set up different instances of the registration page, with each instance having its own configuration of fields. For instance, you can make certain fields only show to users who have not been invited.

(Pro) Post-Registration Actions: You can now auto-announce when someone has registered, or automatically move users that register to a separate usergroup entirely. All actions are configurable per-instance, so it's possible to only announce pre-invited members, for instance.

Follow User, in addition to being nominated for Mod of the Month has also received an update and is now v1.1.0 bringing over a dozen features, changes and fixes. Read more here.

Our new skin(s) are nearing completion and should be ready to launch next week or the week after. Here is a sneak peek for those of your interested in how DBTech will look in the near future:





Lastly we have had a good response to our Focus Group request from last week. We plan on running our first Focus Group survey next week including our first Focus Group prize draw. Here are the details on the Focus Group and how to get involved:

We are planning to form a DragonByte Tech Focus Group. This group would be the first to receive any surveys, polls, questionnaires and other such feedback requests and would as a result have a direct hand in affecting DBTech policy and direction. There would likely be at most 1-2 such feedback requests per month, and respondents would be entered into a prize draw each time to win a variety of DBTech based prizes.

This group will be vital in helping DBTech understand the wants and needs of our customers and helping to improve the services and products that we offer. Anyone who would like to be part of the Focus Group should click this link to be added.

Decado's Corner

Busy week this week! As the skin nears completion i'm finalizing some of the deeper layout changes - things like a new layout for the store making it easier for you guys to find what you want to, grouping mods into categories so if you just want to make your site better at something you can see what mods will help you, speeding up the page load time by removing the large images and much more.

Fillip, Dylan and I have been playing Planetside 2 this past week, it's a great way to wind down at the end of the day and do some team bonding - for those of you who play, you can get us on Jaeger US EAST - Decadoice, DylanCND and Belozaur are our respective tags - feel free to add us to your friends lists.
