DBTech News

Biggest news this week is the release of a mod to help you manage the copyright for your DBTech mods. This puts your DBTech mod copyrights onto one line instead of over several. You can check it out and grab the download link

We have also released updates for other mods:

vBShout went from v6 to 6.0.1 to 6.0.2
Infopanels is now v2.0.4
Username change is now v1.2.0
Thread Post Bookmarking is now v1.1.0
vBSlider is now v1.0.6

What's Going On

@Belazor is working on VBEC to make it more lite-mod friendly and working on a new mod
@Dylan is in the finishing stages of his new mod.
@Darkwaltz4 is working on vBArcade and a new modification still.
@Ozzy47 is working on his new mod
@bszopi is working on his latest project
@Pandemikk is finishing up his first DBTech mod

@Dylan 's new mod is being pushed back until he returns from his upcoming vacation

Decado's Corner

Most of this week has been spent working with @Belazor getting stuff like the new copyright mod finished and discussing some changes for VBEC etc to make our lite & free mods fit in with the system so your licenses and downloads are much easier to manage. To be honest it's a bit of a transitory time just now since exactly which new mod Fillip should start work on full time after that hasn't been finalised yet.

@Dylan is going on holiday starting next weekend so we have made the decision to push release of his mod back to make sure when it is released the support for it is immediate rather than delayed.

Not much else exciting to report really this week gents, so i'll call it a night there!

Great Updates.
VBO also need to update to fix some caching bugs, incompatible bugs. And it's time to think about Xenforo Mods. Many people at Xen are waiting for DBT. Don't be too late.

vBulletin are slower & more buggies & more complex day after day.
These Mods are so great but...

There are zero resolvable bugs open on the bug tracker for vBOptimise - can you link me to the bug threads you're referring to? Regarding incompatibilities - that's a risk you run when you cache data, there's nothing that can be done to "fix" that, it's a side effect of caching.

Regarding XF - it's something we're looking at but we have to make sure our vB customers are taken care of first, we would rather provide a better service to the people who have supported us from the start than transfer a bunch of resources to XenForo to make extra cash.
