vBNotifications v2 is progressing along nicely, thus far I've been able to make a significant improvement to the "Global Notification" system. Currently, it will only allow for 1 notification to be displayed until a certain date, but in v2 you will be able to not only have multiple concurrent notifications, but also schedule them for a future date!
In addition to that, I plan to track when users dismiss global notifications, so it doesn't re-appear on every page once they've dismissed it. All in all, the Global Notifications system will receive massive overhauls that will hopefully make it much more useful.
I'm hoping to have a Beta version available next Monday, though that may change depending on whether the rest of the work goes as planned.
