I've figured out what's next on my agenda; vBNotifications v2! After receiving a suggestion to implement a new type of notification, Web Notifications (demo here), I thought it would be a great way to get around to fixing up this excellent mod.
A problem with the current modification is that new notifications need to be enabled by the administrator, and that's something I'm hoping to no longer make the case after the v2 update. Additionally, I want to fix the clickable area for each notification type to encompass the entire coloured area, as opposed to just the text itself.
If you have any other feature requests for vBNotifications, now would be the perfect time to get them posted!
