Reasonably quiet week this week with just 2 product updates:

First of all we have a big update for @Advanced Post Thanks / Like bringing a new widget display and a re-designed hide system that much simplifies the hiding process as well as several other requested features. Read all about it.

vBDonate has also had a small update bringing various bugfixes, changes and a couple of small feature additions as well. You can read more on it here.

Lastly we are honoured that you guys have once again nominated us for Mod of the Month over at vbulletin.org. This is our 6th mod nomination in the past 5 months by the way! Last month we narrowly lost out to BOP5's pinterest mod by 3 votes (If you ever thought your vote didn't matter, now you know differently!). Please do vote on this months contest - even if you choose to vote for a mod other than ours! the MOTM contest helps to encourage coders to keep producing high quality stuff by giving them a little extra recognition.

Whats Going On

@Belazor is still putting the finishing touches to his Questions & Answers mod.
@Dylan is continuing to prepare his gallery mod for Open Beta.
@Darkwaltz4 is preparing vBArcade v2 for a closed beta period thanks to the huge new Tournaments feature.
@Ozzy47 is working on turning vBDonate gold & an update for vBNavTabs
@bszopi is working on a new major version of vBSlider while also moving house.
@Pandemikk is working on his new secret mod.
@Mokonzi is working on a new project also.
@the-danzor is working on a new skin.

Decado's Corner

I'm rather hungover tonight so prolly not going to be much of a Decado's Corner. Incredibly we've had 6 mod nominations in the past 5 months. At least one mod nomination every month since Feb - thank you guys for that, you're awesome.

Unrelated note - how many of you guys are fans of Sons of Anarchy? I got introduced to it recently and it is insanely addictive! Such a great show - if you don't watch it, you absolutely should.

I am super pumped up for vBDonate & vBGallery since they are going to be amazing mods.
Looking forward to see the new Q&A mod by Belazor, should be neat.

I am also looking forward to the new update for vBSlider, it's a great mod, but could use few more features to it.

BTW, any plans when the next version of vBOptimise will be released? I understand that there is version 3.0 somewhere. :P

So I can't find a better place to ask this, but will vbGallery support videos in the future? Because if the answer is yes, I'm going to put off some of my current plans and wait for that to come out.

@IcEWoLF there is a v3 of vBO which has been in beta forever basically with CDN integration, we've got a couple of other things we want to look into in regards to updating vBO as well though, so there'll likely be an update for it later in the year yeah. No promises.
@Trekkan I literally just watched the first ep of season 2 last night haha.
@Webbstre that's more of a question for @Dylan, but to the best of my knowledge it's not on the planned feature list at this exact moment in time.

I think the videos option should be a different plugin. I don't think vBGallery + video should go together, it should be a separate mod so it doesn't confuse users.
There is so much in vBgallery that if we added videos too...well I think it would be a bit much for 1 plugin.

@IcEWoLF - just now the plan is to allow vBGallery to display videos in the same way it can display pictures, but only via youtube links. It won't have any uploading/streaming options etc. You're right in that would be a new mod.
@hornstar make sure you request it in the forums if you want it in there! Might still go in but i'm not sure, that'll be up to @Belazor

About SOA i have see all 4 seasons 3 times and when i have see one season i want to kill someone haha
My nabours are in heavy dangerous when i have see a season LOL cant wait for season 5 this fall..

@Belazor is awesome. He put out a beta 3 with vm integration and other awesome features/fixes. Very impressed!
